Lobo Day

UNM 125 Years

UNM celebrates Lobo Day each year on February 28 to commemorate the founding of the university in 1889. In 2014, we celebrate UNM’s 125th birthday. As in years past, students come together in the Student Union Building atrium to have cake and take a photo of students wearing cherry and silver. A large image of the photo is then featured on a wall in the SUB.
